There are two student residential halls in VTC which are located in Pokfulam Road, Hong Kong Island and Tsing Yi Island, New Territories. The two halls provide over 900 residence places (on double occupancy basis) for Full-time and Part-time students of Degree programmes, Higher Diploma programmes and Diploma of Foundation Studies, as well as 3-month Hall Life Experiential. Programme and short-stay places for local or foreign exchange students andcollaboration partners of VTC. Halls life provides opportunities for students to learn and grow together through cross-cultural environment, as well as enriches study life and adds value to students' whole person development.

Residence Place
A standard unit of accommodation is a 2-person unit, each unit of accommodation can accommodate 4 residents. Same unit will share a set of washroom, bathroom and air-conditioner. A single bed, writing desk and wardrobe will be provided to each of the residents.

Accommodation Fees
Accommodation fees for dormitories will be calculated proportionally based on the check-in date, and all paid fees are non-refundable. Once the accommodation period and payment are confirmed, no refunds will be given for late check-in or early withdrawal. If a notice to relinquish the accommodation place is submitted before the start of the accommodation period, an administrative fee of $800 will be charged.

Eligibility (Applicable to AY2024-2025 New Students)
The Vocational Training Council provides accommodation for students with housing needs. If the number of applicants exceeds the available accommodation places at VTC Halls of Residence, the allocation of dormitory spaces will be determined through a lottery system, which will be conducted in multiple stages.
The Hall Management Office of the Vocational Training Council has the final decision-making authority for dormitory allocation.
