A statutory body established in 1982, the Vocational Training Council (VTC) is the largest vocational and professional education and training provider in Hong Kong. VTC provides valuable credentials for some 200,000 students each year through a full range of pre-employment and in-service programmes with internationally recognised qualifications.

Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi)Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE)Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI)Hong Kong Institute of Information Technology (HKIIT)International Culinary Institute (ICI), Maritime Services Training Institute (MSTI) and School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) are the member institutions of VTC.

 

Among them, THEi provides full time Degree programs while IVE, HKDI, HKIIT, ICI and MSTI offer students different kinds of programmes at various levels, including Higher Diploma Programmes. In collaboration with well-recognised overseas and local universities, SHAPE offers top-up degree programmes for VTC's Higher Diploma graduates who wish to pursue further studies.
