ITE-VTC Friendship Virtual Celebration

To celebrate the long-standing partnership between the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and Vocational Training Council (VTC), the ITE-VTC Friendship Virtual Celebration was held on 7 Dec 2021, with Mrs Carrie YAU, Executive Director of VTC, Mr Donald TONG, Executive Director Designate of VTC, Ms LOW Khah Gek, Chief Executive Officer of ITE, and other senior management and directorates of both VTC and ITE joining the joyous occasion.

Since 1998, VTC and ITE have strived together towards the common goal of nurturing skilled talent through Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET). At the delightful event, there were photo montage and celebration song that refreshed both parties’ memories, which were filled with cheers and accomplishments in the past years. Despite the prolonged pandemic, the connection between VTC and ITE has never faded and it is gratifying that we transcended geographical boundaries and successfully organised a number of virtual staff and student exchange activities even during these challenging times.

Leveraging the solid foundation, the VTC and ITE will continue to work hand in hand and heart to heart to advance VPET and enhance its recognition in the global arena. We look forward to achieving another milestone together in the long-awaited event, the ITE-VTC International Student Seminar 2022 themed “Post Covid-19: Towards an Inclusive and Sustainable Future”, which will take place in Singapore in Jun 2022 in a new blended mode.
