VTC participated in Vocational Education Week of Guangdong Province to promote VPET and set up debut display panel

VTC took part in the “Vocational Education Week of Guangdong Province 2023” (“Vocational Education Week”) held in Zhongshan where VTC representatives exchanged ideas with education departments and some 90 vocational institutions in the province to promote Hong Kong’s vocational and professional education and training (“VPET”) in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (“GBA”). 

The theme of the Vocational Education Week this year is the integration of industry, science and education to serve the development needs of the GBA. VTC supported the event by not only having representatives officiating in the opening ceremony, but also setting up a display panel in the concurrent exhibition to introduce the diverse learning opportunities and articulation pathways offered by VTC, as well as the latest development of VTC in the Mainland.  With closer collaboration with Mainland partners and its global networks, VTC will continue to provide enriched learning opportunities for young people and promote the development of VPET.
