VTC Hosted KSQA Delegation for Knowledge Exchange on VPET and Digital Innovation

On 12 September 2025, the Vocational Training Council (VTC) was delighted to welcome delegates from the Korean Skills Quality Authority (KSQA), which oversees vocational training institutes and programmes in Korea, highly received by Principal of the Hong Kong Institute of Information Technology (HKIIT) at its Tsing Yi campus.

The visit facilitated a valuable exchange of insights among both parties.  The meeting focuses on VTC’s role in promoting Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) in Hong Kong, including its quality assurance and enhancement systems, support mechanisms for learning and teaching and staff development programmes.  In addition, HKIIT also showcased its Industry+Institute (I+I) collaboration model and digital education efforts, including innovative AI and digital technology training initiatives.

Both organisations engaged in productive discussions on quality assurance practices and industry partnerships to ensure training relevance and skill enhancement.  The visit enabled an excellent platform for mutual learning and strengthened collaboration in VPET quality management between Hong Kong and Korea.
