VTC Received Delegation from China National Academy of Educational Sciences for Discussions on Vocational Education Collaboration

On November 26, 2025, a delegation led by Vice President Li Xiaoqiang of the China National Academy of Educational Sciences (CNAES) visited the Vocational Training Council (VTC). The delegation and VTC engaged in in-depth discussions on the collaborative development of vocational education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, as well as deepening cooperation between Hong Kong and the Mainland. The Chief Executive's Policy Unit of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government also had three researchers to participate in the exchange.

Accompanied by VTC Deputy Executive Director Dr. Michael Wang and other senior management, the delegation toured the advanced training facilities at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Chai Wan campus) and gained a thorough understanding of VTC's innovative practices in vocational education. 

This visit created a platform for the delegation and VTC to discuss enhancing deep collaboration between Hong Kong and the Mainland in vocational education, including industry-education integration and talent cultivation.
