VTC students secure French+Gastronomy Scholarship for third straight year

VTC is proud to announce that Helena Wan Ching Man, a Year 3 student in the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Culinary Arts and Management programme at THEi, has been awarded a full scholarship for the French+Gastronomy Programme 2026 by the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macao. Selected through a highly competitive process involving outstanding candidates from institutions across Hong Kong and Macao, Helena’s achievement marks the third consecutive year that a VTC student has received this distinguished award, which was presented during the France Alumni Day Ceremony held in June.

About the French+Gastronomy Programme (July – August 2026)
The unique programme offers international students a three-week immersive experience in Rouen, Normandy—celebrated as a UNESCO “City of Gastronomy.” Participants engage in French language lessons, culinary workshops, cultural activities, and hands-on encounters with chefs, producers, and hospitality professionals. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Helena and look forward to following her exciting journey in France this summer.

In addition to the scholarships granted by the French Consulate General in Hong Kong and Macau, students can also apply for the French Gastronomy programme as a self-financed student.
