The programme aims to equip students with wide range of knowledge, skills and techniques related to Chinese medicine including Chinese medicine therapies, Chinese medicine health care, administrative and management duties of Chinese medicine clinics.
The programme is designed with an emphasis on generic and language training, whole-person development and workplace experience to better prepare students for further studies and employment after graduation.

Graduates may be employed in organisations related to Chinese medicine services, e.g. Chinese medicine clinics / centres / integrated medical centres, and health education units etc.
Graduates may continue to study in local or overseas universities to obtain a degree.
1.Students may be required to attend classes on other VTC campuses. VTC reserves the right to cancel any programme, revise programme title, content or change the offering institute(s) / campus(es) / class venue(s) if circumstances so warrant.
2.The revalidation of the programme will be conducted in 2025. The curriculum will be updated if circumstances so warrant.
3.This new programme with Cantonese as the medium of instruction (including some modules taught entirely in English) will be offered in the 2025/26 academic year.
4.Certain modules within the curriculum are delivered in Chinese. A higher level of Chinese proficiency is required.
