Career Prospects

Graduates may be employed to take up the roles on the supervisory level, ranging from Assistant Property Officer, Officer Trainee, Facilities Management Officer, Property Officer, Building Maintenance Officer to Property / Portfolio in-charge. For those with experience or other qualifications, they may take up higher positions.

Articulation

Graduates may articulate to the Degree programmes offered by Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi):

  • BSc (Hons) in Surveying (Year 3 Entry)^

Graduates may pursue relevant Degrees locally or overseas. They may also apply for admission to the top-up Degree programmes in Hong Kong offered by the following university in collaboration with the School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE):

  • Northumbria University, UK: BSc (Hons) in Global Business Management#
    [Not applicable to Mainland students]

Professional Recognition

The programme is recognized by the following organizations:

  • Property Management Services Authority - Specified Qualifications for the Property Management Practitioner (Level 2) Licence: Graduates are eligible to apply for the Property Management Practitioner (Level 2) Licence with two years of accumulated property management experience or one year of such experience with the supervision of Property Management Practitioner (Level 1) Licence holder.
  • Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch — Recognized Course for the Membership: Graduates are eligible to apply for being their Member with the completion of Practical Experience Requirements (PER).
