Graduates can take up jobs such as property management specialists, assistant managers (property management), housing officers, facility management officers, leasing managers, and maintenance officers.

Articulation

Graduates may articulate to the Degree programmes offered by Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi):

  • Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Surveying^

 
Graduates may pursue relevant Degrees locally or overseas. They may also apply for admission to the top-up Degree programmes in Hong Kong offered by the following university in collaboration with the School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE):

  • Northumbria University, UK: BSc (Hons) Global Business Management[Not applicable to Mainland students]

Professional Recognition

To attain the Property Management Practitioner (Tier 2) license, one of the qualifying criteria is the completion of this programme.  In conjunction with this educational requirement, applicants must also meet either one of the following work experience criteria: one year of relevant work experience under the supervision of a Property Management Practitioner (Tier 1) personnel, or two years of relevant work experience without the supervision of a Property Management Practitioner (Tier 1) personnel.

Note

1. Students may be required to attend classes on other VTC campuses. VTC reserves the right to cancel any programme, revise programme title, content or change the offering institute(s) / campus(es) / class venue(s) if circumstances so warrant.
2. This new programmes with Chinese (Putonghua) as the medium of instruction (including some modules taught entirely in English) will be offered in the 2025/26 academic year. The accreditation of programme by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications will be conducted in 2025.
