Programme Aims

The programme aims to assist students to build a sound basis for various aviation services operating at the airport and different modes of public and private transport operations.

The programme also enables students to appreciate the importance of technology advancement and industrial compliance in aviation services and transport industries on improving safety and operation efficiency.

Career Prospects

Graduates may be employed in the field of transport operations or planning and aviation services in various public and private enterprises. They are competent to take up posts in public transport operators, aviation services companies, transport consultant and government departments, such as operations officer, administrative officer, customer service officer, project assistant, fleet management supervisor, and assistant transport planner, etc.

Articulation

Graduates may pursue relevant Degrees locally or overseas. They may also apply for admission to the top-up Degree programmes in Hong Kong offered by the following university in collaboration with the School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE):

  • Northumbria University, UK: BSc (Hons) in Global Business Management#

Professional Recognition

The programme has established closed relationship with business enterprises and professional bodies. We will invite guest speakers from industry and arrange logistics and aviation-related job opportunities for students. Graduates may be entitled to partial exemption from the Professional Qualifying Examination of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong.
