Programme Aims

The programme aims to provide students with a practical grounding in software systems development, with the emphasis on software design and quality as well as project management. Graduates will be able to design and develop mobile, internet and enterprise applications.
 
The programme is designed with an emphasis on generic and language training, whole-person development and workplace experience to better prepare students for further studies and employment after graduation.

Career Prospects

Graduates may be employed as programmers, technical support personnel, systems analyst, etc., with potential promotion to information systems manager.

Articulation

Graduates may articulate to the degree programmes offered by Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi):

  1. Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Multimedia Technology and Innovation; and
  2. Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Information and Communications Technology.

Professional Recognition

The programme is recognised by the Hong Kong Computer Society as satisfying the academic requirements for its Associate membership.
