Higher Diploma in Cybersecurity (Medium of Instruction: Chinese (Cantonese))
The programme aims to develop students’ knowledge and practical problem-solving and analytical skills for the analysis, design and implementation of computer systems with an emphasis on information security.
The programme is designed with an emphasis on generic and language training, whole-person development and workplace experience to better prepare students for further studies and employment after graduation.

Graduates may be employed as Information Security Officers, Network Administrators / Engineers and Network and System Security Engineer.
Graduates may articulate to the Degree programmes offered by Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi):
- BSc (Hons) in Cyber Security
Remarks: All applicants are screened and selected by an Admission Panel. If interview is required, it would be conducted in English.
- Class venue: HKIIT and IVE (Tsing Yi). HKIIT is located at VTC Tsing Yi Complex, 20A Tsing Yi Road, Tsing Yi Island, New Territories.
- Medium of Instruction: Chinese (Cantonese) (Except some modules in English)
- Students may be required to attend classes on other VTC campuses. VTC reserves the right to cancel any programme, revise programme title, content or change the offering institute(s) / campus(es) / class venue(s) if circumstances so warrant.
- The programme is newly offered in AY2026/27. The accreditation of programme will be conducted in 2026.
