The programme aims to equip students with up-to-date professional knowledge and techniques in interactive multimedia, web broadcasting, and virtual reality technologies that meet the rising demands in various creative industries. Students will acquire practical and hands-on experience through internship and participating collaborative projects with the industry.
 
The programme is designed with an emphasis on generic and language training, whole-person development and workplace experience, to well prepare the students to further studies and pursue a career after graduation.

Career Prospects

Graduates can work as multimedia developer & producer, VR/AR application developer, web broadcasting producer, UI/UX designer & developer, mobile apps developer, advertising producer, exhibition coordinator, web designer & developer and, creative professional or even to develop their SOHO business in the industry.

Articulation
Graduates may articulate to the degree programmes offered by Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi):
  1. Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Multimedia Technology and Innovation; and
  2. Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Digital Advertising.

Graduates may apply for admission to the following programmes:

Professional Recognition

The programme is recognised by the Hong Kong Computer Society as satisfying the academic requirements for its Associate membership.

The programme is also recognised by the industry and professional bodies. Students could enroll to the professional certifications, such as Adobe Certified Associate, Autodesk Certified Associate, Pro Tools Certified User, Unity Certified Associate etc. with student-discounted rate to enhance their career prospects. The Discipline will provide the latest information on the fee and reimbursement of parts of the certification fees to the students.
